Great news has recently come from the 10-million-ton/year coal gangue comprehensive utilization project undertaken by Jiehua Holdings for Hebei Qingfeng Green Energy Solid Waste Disposal Co., Ltd. Phase I's No. 3 coal gangue suspension preheating calcination kiln (10,000 T/D) was successfully ignited and put into trial operation with material feed on July 14.
The project processes coal gangue through an integrated system of suspension preheating, calcination, and cooling. The system consists of a 4-stage preheater, a suspension calciner, a 2-stage cyclone cooler, and a terminal powder cyclone cooler, supported by auxiliary grinding, flue gas purification, and waste heat utilization systems to achieve high-quality decarbonization of coal gangue. The resulting low-carbon clay-based new material can serve as raw material for silicoaluminous ceramics, fiberglass, industrial alumina, and supplementary cementitious materials—turning coal gangue waste into valuable resources. The suspension preheating calcination kiln used in this project is currently the largest of its kind in the world, with a daily coal gangue processing capacity in the ten-thousand-ton range. Drawing on extensive experience and advanced technology in the environmental protection field, our company supplied two sets of high-efficiency, energy-saving, environmentally friendly, high-temperature-resistant pulse bag filters for this kiln—one with an air volume of 950,000 m³/h (inlet end) and the other 1.3 million m³/h (outlet end). The successful ignition and trial run of Phase I's No. 3 coal gangue suspension preheating calcination kiln at Hebei Qingfeng Green Energy marks another successful application of Jiehua's products in large-scale industrial suspension calcination kilns.
Looking ahead, as the project moves toward full production, it will effectively address local coal gangue pollution, drive the development of related industries, and inject new vitality into the local economy. Jiehua Holdings will continue to uphold its green development philosophy, contributing further to the advancement of China's environmental protection industry.
